"Pass-it-on" Surplus Event

You are invited to join us in co-creating a Resource Based Economy (RBE).

Join us next week as we put on an event that will simulate the first step towards creating an RBE. Through using the reconsumption model laid out by the Global Reconsume Project and scaling it back to an action that any person can take on, we have come up
with the “Pass-it-on” Surplus Event.

What’s a “Pass-it-on” Surplus Event?

These events are spaces that can facilitate the flow of our resources to the rest of the community. Most of the resources at these events are given back to the public for free as a means to facilitate the flow by not imposing a dollar value on it. People “Pay-it-Forward” in order to support the processing of these resources and enables a large Surplus of free.

These events are used to begin the conversation of reconsuming in the community and begin raising social equity towards creating a larger “center” for the community to come interact with each other and this resource, known as a Reconsume Center.

These events make money through a suggested $2-$4/bag or box dontation for items that you would like to bring to the event to have given back out to the community. The money raised from these events goes to support the project so these items can be given back to the public as a free Surplus resource.

Please contact us if you wish to bring bags and boxes down. We will be open betweek 12-5pm each day but will welcome phone calls all day.
